ICC as we know it today, sprung out of 355 acres of land previously undeveloped off of Rte. 1 on the Ipswich-Rowley line. The development of land includes an 18 hole golf course along with 221 individually owned homes. The golf course, designed in 1984 by the legendary golf course designer, Robert Trent Jones Sr., is one of the few new courses built in the Northeast in the last 25 years, has hosted a US Open qualifying round. The club provides to the members a clubhouse, with dining rooms, lounges and private function rooms as well as a health club and swim and tennis center (clubhouse, pavilion and tennis courts).

In May 1993, Club Corp, the world’s premier owner and operator of notable private clubs and resorts, teamed up with ICC. Their leadership brings expertise in private club management, golf operations and membership marketing. Over the years Club Corp has kept the property up-to-date investing millions of dollars, in both people and property improvements, including the remodel of the gym, RTJ Room and construction of the Pavilion area at the pool in 2014.
